Terms of Use


Solr Solvr is solar assessment and quote services that is free to home and business owners. 

The content, resources, and services provided on www.solrsolvr.com, including all pages hosted at that domain (collectively, this “Site”) is provided by 2815372 Ontario Inc. o/a Solr Solvr (“Solr Solvr”) conditional upon your acceptance of the terms and conditions of use set out below (“TOU”). 


1. Acceptance of Terms of Use


By accessing or otherwise making use of this Site, you agree on behalf of yourself and any entity on whose behalf you may be acting, to be bound by these TOU. Therefore, please review these TOU carefully. 


If you or the entity on whose behalf you are acting does not wish to be bound by these Terms of Use, you should not access, read, or otherwise use this Site.

2. Use of the Site


Solr Solvr grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable, limited license to use and access the Site only as permitted by these TOU. Solr Solvr reserves all rights not expressly granted to you by these TOU.


Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, and unless expressly agreed to by Solr Solvr in writing, your license shall not include the right to:





You promise not to use the Site or any of its Services for any purpose that is unlawful, that is otherwise prohibited by these TOU, or that is not reasonably intended by Solr Solvr. 


Solr Solvr in its sole and absolute discretion reserves the right to prohibit access to the Site by any person or internet protocol address, or deactivate any user account, at any time, for any or no reason at all, without notice. 


You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users of this Site, including Third Party Vendors. Should your conduct on this Site give rise to any claims, demands, and/or legal proceedings, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Solr Solvr in respect of all such claims, demands, and/or legal proceedings.


Solr Solvr reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue this Site or any part thereof at any time with or without notice to you. Any future release, update, or addition to the Site will be subject to these TOU. You agree that Solr Solvr and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, independent contractor, agents, successors, and assigns (collectively, the “Releasees”) shall not be held liable for any reason whatsoever for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of this Site or any part thereof. 


3. Third Party Vendors, Products, and Services


Solr Solvr may design solar energy systems for an additional fee where applicable, but Solr Solvr is not itself a distributed energy system manufacturer or installer, a contractor, or a distributor of energy-related products.


Solr Solvr serves as a platform to connect you to third-party product manufacturers, installers, contractors, lenders, and financial institutions (each a “Third Party Vendor” and collectively the “Third Party Vendors”), in order for you to receive additional information from them, including project proposals, financing proposals, estimates for installation, and other professional services pursuant to a Submitted Request (as defined in Section 4). Solr Solvr may, in turn, receive a fee or other compensation from these Third Party Vendors for providing them with the opportunity to respond to Submitted Requests. 


Solr Solvr provides no representations or warranties in relation to products and services of any Third Party Vendors (“Third Party Products and Services”) which are advertised, described, shown, or otherwise referred to on this Site. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Solr Solvr makes no representations or warranties regarding the quality and availability of such Third Party Products and Services. 


Offers relating to Third Party Products and Services may be subject to certain qualifying criteria that are not established by Solr Solvr and over which Solr Solvr has no control. 


Under no circumstance shall any of the Releasees be liable in any way for any Third Party Products and Services, including, without limitation, for any loss or damage of any kind incurred by you as a result of the use of, or reliance upon, such products or services.


Any quote or fee estimate provided to you on this Site is not binding on Solr Solvr or any Third Party Vendor, and shall be subject to adjustment following a visit to, and inspection of, the property on which the products and/or services are to be delivered. 


Your dealings with any Third Party Vendor are solely between you and such Third Party Vendor. You should undertake any due diligence you feel is necessary or appropriate prior to engaging in any transaction with any Third Party Vendor. You specifically agree that none of the Releasees shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damages of any nature that is incurred as the result of your dealing(s) with any Third Party Vendor(s). 


You hereby agree to release the Releasees from all causes of action, claims, demands, fees, and damages of any nature whatsoever, whether at law or in equity, whether presently known or unknown to you, and no matter how arising in relation to any dispute between you and any Third Party Vendor(s) or other user of this Site. You understand and agree that Solr Solvr is under no obligation to resolve any such dispute or assist with its resolution.


Unless expressly stated in writing, nothing on this Site shall constitute an offer, representation, warranty, or agreement by Solr Solvr or any Third Party Vendor to deliver any products or services to you.


4. Third Party Content and Websites


This Site may contain content, features, and functionalities that may present you with information provided by third parties or link you to websites hosted by third parties (collectively, “Third Party Content”) that are completely independent of Solr Solvr. 


Solr Solvr does not pre-screen or endorse such Third Party Content. Solr Solvr makes no representation or warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or authenticity of the information contained in any such Third Party Content. Your browsing of, usage of, and/or reliance upon any Third Party Content is done solely at your own risk. Under no circumstance shall any of the Releasees be held liable in any way for any loss or damages of any kind incurred as a result of your use of, or reliance upon, any Third Party Content.


Opinions and statements regarding solar energy products and services, and financial products and services, may be expressed in Third Party Content. Solr Solvr makes no representation or warranty as to the truthfulness, accuracy, or authenticity of such opinions and statements. 


Any personal information that you provide on any third party website (whether or not linked from this Site) is governed by and subject to the privacy policies and practices of that third party website. You are encouraged to learn about the privacy policies and practices of all such third party websites, as the Solr Solvr Privacy Policy will not apply.


5. Requests for Information and Services


This Site allows you to submit requests for Solr Solvr or Third Party Vendor(s) to provide you with information about products and/or services, or to furnish you with proposals to deliver products and/or services (each such request, a “Submitted Request”). This includes without limitation requests to Solr Solvr for a free solar assessment and a requests to Third Party Vendors for quotes on their products and/or services.


Any Submitted Request that you submit to Solr Solvr or Third Party Vendor(s) shall constitute consent within the meaning of Schedule 1, Section 4.3 of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada) for either or both of them, as the case may be, to deliver information and/or proposals to you via the Site, telephone, email, mail, SMS text message, or any other method of communication referred to in your Submitted Request 


If you provide your telephone number as part of your Submitted Request, your Submitted Request shall constitute express consent within the meaning of paragraph 124 of Telecom Decision CRTC 2007-48 for Solr Solvr or the Third Party Vendor(s) to contact you via telephone, even if your telephone number is listed on the national or any other Do Not Call List. 


You may request that Solr Solvr cease providing further services or communications to you at any time by contacting advisor@solrsolvr.com


Please note that where your contact information has already been provided to Third Party Vendor(s) pursuant to a Submitted Request, you shall be solely responsible for contacting such Third Party Vendor(s) to inform them of your desire to withdraw your consent to further communications from them. 


6. Registration Requirements


You may be required to create an account with Solr Solvr in order to access and use certain parts of the Site. Where an account is required, you must provide a valid email address in order to complete your registration for such account. You are further required to provide Solr Solvr with accurate, complete, and up-to-date registration information. You may not use a false email address or impersonate any person or entity. Failure to provide registration information that meets these standards shall constitute a breach of these TOU, and will result in the immediate suspension and possible termination of your account. 


You are solely responsible for anything that happens in relation to your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of the login credentials associated with your account. You must notify Solr Solvr in writing immediately if you discover or suspect that your account has been accessed without your permission. Your account shall not be licensed, sold, assigned, or otherwise transferred.


7. Copyright and Trademarks


All content published on this Site (including, without limitation, all text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, video clips, digital downloads, data compilations, wizards, and software) is protected by copyright. You may only use or reproduce content on this Site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You shall not display, distribute, broadcast, transmit, reproduce, edit, modify, create derivative works from, or otherwise use any of the content on this Site without the prior written consent of the copyright holder. You hereby agree to abide by all copyright notices, information, and restrictions contained on this Site.


Solr Solvr™  and ApolloTech™ are trademarks of Solr Solvr. The names of products and/or services of Third Party Vendors mention on this Site may be trademarks of those Third Party Vendors. You shall not use any trademark displayed on this Site without the prior written consent of the relevant trademark owner.


If you believe that your intellectual property rights have been infringed, please submit your complaint to Solr Solvr at advisor@solrsolvr.com.


Written complaints concerning copyright infringement must include the following information:


8. Limitation of Liability and Indemnity


To the fullest extent permissible by law, Solr Solvr disclaims all representations and warranties regarding the quality and fitness for a particular purpose of any Third Party Products and Services, whether express or implied. 


To the fullest extent permissible by law, none of the Releasees shall not be liable for: 






specifically including, but not limited to, any and all direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.


Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, under no circumstances shall any of the Releasees be liable for any loss or damages arising in connection with your reliance upon any information obtained through this Site or any third party website. It is your sole responsibility to evaluate the accuracy, completeness, or authenticity of any information, opinion, advice, or other content on this Site or any third party website.


Solr Solvr does not warrant this Site or any third party website to be free of viruses, worms, trojan horses, trap doors, or other code intended to damage, corrupt, intercept, or otherwise detrimentally interfere with any system, data, or personal information.


You specifically agree to indemnify and hold Solr Solvr harmless against any claims, demands, causes of action, losses, or damages whatsoever arising in connection with your use of this Site or any third party website.


9. Dispute Resolution


Any dispute or claim relating in any way to your use of this Site, any Third Party Content, and/or any Third Party Products and Services in respect of which Solr Solvr is added as a party shall be resolved by arbitration pursuant to the Arbitration Act, 1991, S.O. 1991, c. 17 as amended. You specifically agree that any resulting arbitral decision shall be final and binding upon you.


You specifically agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated or representative action. If for any reason a claim proceeds in a court of competent jurisdiction rather than by arbitration, you agree to waive any right to a jury trial. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you agree that Solr Solvr is permitted to bring legal proceedings in a court of competent jurisdiction to enjoin infringement or other misuse of any intellectual property rights.


10. Headings


The headings used in these TOU are for ease of reference only and shall not affect the interpretation or construction of any provision herein.


11. Amendments


Solr Solvr is always working to improve this Site, and these TOU may change from time to time, without notice. Any such changes will become effective immediately upon being posted to this Site. 


These TOU comprise an agreement between you and Solr Solvr, and you must review these TOU on a regular basis to keep yourself apprised of any changes to that agreement which exists between you and Solr Solvr. The most current version of these TOU can be accessed by clicking on the "Terms of Use" link located at the bottom of each page on this Site.


12. Governing Law


Any dispute arising in connection with these TOU or this Site shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.



13. Entire Agreement 


These TOU constitute the entire agreement between you and Solr Solvr and it supersedes all communications, promises, and proposals, whether oral, written, or electronic, between you and Solr Solvr 


14. Severability


If any part of this Agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, specifically including, but not limited to, any limitation of liability set out herein, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed replaced by a valid enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision, and the remainder of these TOU shall continue in effect.
